Founding Global Excellence
The global TEGOLA entity was established in 1992, quickly becoming a leader in premium asphalt roofing shingles. Key achievements included the introduction of polymer-modified bitumen technology, achieving ISO 9001 certification (2002), and massive production capacity expansion.
Entry into the Indian Market
Recognizing the potential and specific needs of the Indian construction sector, TEGOLA Pvt Ltd. was established. Our initial focus was on customizing the core product range for the highly varied Indian climate.
Local Distribution & Training
We focused heavily on building a robust distribution network across major metropolitan areas and Tier-2 cities. We launched our Certified Installer Training Program (CITP) to ensure high-quality application standards.
Heat & UV Optimisation
Responding to feedback on extreme summer conditions, we upgraded our core product lines with enhanced UV stabilizers and high-reflectivity granules. This optimization significantly improved heat resistance and colour retention.
5000th Indian Project Milestone
TEGOLA proudly completed its 5000th installation project across the country. This milestone demonstrated our growing market acceptance and trust from architects and developers. Our dedicated team grew to over 200 professionals.
